Mass Effect 3 – The Details

I will be updating this post frequently to keep track of confirmed new features and/or changes to Mass Effect 3.

30/05/2011 update :

- Every class in Mass Effect 3 will have a dedicated set of powers, with at least one new power.
- Your character will have 1 heavy weapon, just like in the previous game.
- Mass Effect 3 will be using the renowned Unreal 3 engine.

- Increased character customization options.
- More gore.
- Ability to operate a Cerberus mech.
- Choices you made in previous games will affect Mass Effect 3 storyline.
- Introduction of new love interests.
- Same sex romances for both genders.
- Cover will have a dedicated key/button (good!).
- There will be less squad mates to allow for deeper characters.
- Shepard will no longer be with Cerberus (obviously), and re-join the Alliance.
- New Cerberus elite units for you to fight.
- Enhanced space exploration.
- Shepard gets to visit mother Earth.
- More advanced water physics.
- More sex.

Mass Effect 3 release date : First quarter of 2012.
Will be available on : PC, Playstation 3, Xbox-360.
